Meet Hal
Harold “Hal” Skaggs, originally from Austin, began his firearms career in the early 1990s learning the industry while being mentored for years in gun valuation and sales. After a period as a private collector, he returned to the gun business at Cabela’s in 2005 where he managed the Gun Library until 2012. Being well versed in both vintage and current firearms, he has handled collections of all sizes, from a few items to vast collections. Hal’s knowledge, coupled with a great compassion to provide clients with a smooth and easy gun selling experience explains why he is so highly respected as the “go to” guy when selling firearms. Hal joined the team at Provident Arms in 2021 as Firearms Curator and Buyer.
